Peraton is seeking a Lead Voice Communications Manager (Product Manager) to oversee the planning, execution, and performance of FAA voice communications systems critical to air traffic control operations. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and integration of voice communication capabilities across the NAS, supporting mission-critical interactions between air traffic controllers, pilots, and automated systems. The ideal candidate combines telecommunications expertise with program management experience, leading teams to deliver high-reliability, safe, and compliant voice communications capabilities that advance FAA modernization goals.
Lead lifecycle management of voice communications systems, including planning, integration, deployment, and sustainment across BNATCS initiatives.
Support the Project/Program Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring voice communication projects from concept through delivery.
Develop and manage schedules, budgets, deliverables, and performance metrics; provide briefings on program status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Establish and maintain systems for data collection, performance tracking, and documentation to ensure visibility into project progress.
Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to optimize voice communication system performance, reliability, and security.
Identify, assess, and resolve risks and issues to prevent or minimize impacts to program success.
Ensure compliance with FAA, federal, and industry standards, including cybersecurity and operational requirements.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and FAA stakeholders to achieve technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
Prepare and review program documentation, monthly variance reports, and performance assessments.
Oversee audit file maintenance, ensuring adherence to reporting criteria and regulatory compliance.
Monitor program efficiency and effectiveness, recommending improvements to processes, system design, or operational procedures.
Serve as a primary interface for FAA leadership and partners on all matters related to voice communications systems.
