About The Role

seeking a motivated and mission-driven Mid-Level GEOINT Systems Engineer to support critical efforts across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and other Federal Agencies. In this dynamic role, you’ll engage in high-impact systems engineering initiatives that drive modernization, integration, and delivery of cutting-edge GEOINT capabilities.

You will work closely with stakeholders, mission partners, and technical teams to ensure that system solutions are well-designed, technically sound, and aligned with national and allied mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute full-spectrum systems engineering tasks, including requirements analysis, solution architecture, scheduling, integration, testing, and maintainability.

  • Analyze user requirements, mission workflows, and system architectures to identify enhancement opportunities.

  • Support modernization initiatives by reviewing cloud services, identifying constraints, and evaluating compatibility with mission needs.

  • Design and document technical solutions that ensure traceability to operational requirements and customer baselines.

  • Translate strategic mission objectives into actionable, traceable system and capability requirements.

  • Allocate and manage requirements across system architecture components, supporting continuous program execution.

  • Develop and manage integration plans and project schedules, ensuring alignment with mission milestones and modernization roadmaps.

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement to define and validate enterprise-level requirements for new and evolving mission needs.

  • Support trade studies, Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), and engineering assessments to evaluate potential solutions.

  • Assist with risk management, interface design, strategic planning, and performance engineering.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering,  operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or 9 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of degree.
  • 6 years of working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.
  • 6 years of system engineering experience in government or industry.
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.

 

Desired:

  • Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.
  • Documented work experience in the field of geospatial intelligence.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
