Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton Labs is seeking an Operations Analyst to support the BNATCS CTO by helping maintain coordination, execution discipline, and operational follow-through across a fast-moving highly, highly technical program environment. This position will work with the Operations Manager and serve as an on-site operational support resource based in Herndon, VA, helping capture actions, organize information, track follow-ups, and improve day-to-day execution across teams and stakeholders.

This is a strong entry-level opportunity for a motivated early-career professional who is eager to experience supporting complex aviation modernization efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, intellectually curious, interested in aviation and technology, and comfortable supporting both business and technical teams. This person should be proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to grow into greater responsibility over time while learning directly from senior program and operational leaders.

This role offers a rare opportunity to join a highly visible aviation modernization effort in an early-career capacity with meaningful exposure to senior leaders, technical teams, and real program execution. You will gain hands-on experience in how complex, high-stakes work is coordinated, learn directly from experienced operational leadership, and build the foundation for long-term growth in program operations, technical operations, or mission delivery.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Support day-to-day operational coordination across program leads, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Capture, organize, and track actions, decisions, dependencies and follow-ups across meetings, workstreams, and leadership discussions
  • Help ensure key program activities are documented, communicated, and advanced toward closure
  • Maintain visibility into ongoing initiatives, emerging issues, open items, and coordination needs across the program
  • Assist in connecting work across multiple leads and functional areas to reduce gaps and improve continuity
  • Support the creation and maintenance of action trackers, meeting notes, status updates, and other program coordination artifacts
  • Help ensure commitments, next steps, and responsibilities are clearly documented and visible to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Assist with staff coordination and follow-up to help keep priorities organized and actionable
  • Translate meeting discussions into structured next steps, ownership, and practical execution tasks
  • Partner with the Operations Manager and program leadership to improve internal coordination, information flow, and operational clarity
  • Help surface bottlenecks, missed follow-ups, and execution risks before they become larger issues
  • Contribute to a culture of responsiveness, organization, accountability, and discipline follow-through
  • Learn the program environment, stakeholder landscape, and operational rhythms in order to grow into broader ownership over time

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, track follow-ups, and maintain structure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
