Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Physical Security Specialist – Senior to support this mission at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina. 

Responsibilities:  

As a Physical Security Specialist – Senior you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include: 

• Serves as a lead expert in designing, implementing, and optimizing comprehensive physical security operations for C2ISR facility infrastructure and technical environments. 
• Leads the development and enforcement of advanced physical security policies and procedures, ensuring robust access control, perimeter defense, and surveillance systems are in place and operationalized. 
• Architects and manages the facility's physical security posture, including the deployment and optimization of integrated Access Control Systems (ACS), advanced CCTV analytics, and multi-zone Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). 
• Directs and oversees all security access coordination and VAR administration activities, ensuring robust physical security protocols and compliance with all security clearances and site-specific requirements. 
• Manages relationships with external security providers, local law enforcement, and government security agencies, coordinating responses to critical security incidents and participating in emergency preparedness planning. 
• Conducts in-depth physical security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses, identifying systemic weaknesses and developing strategic plans for security posture improvements, including technology upgrades. 
• Functions as a technical expert in physical security, anticipating strategic risks (e.g., insider threats, targeted attacks), and ensuring robust, reliable, and compliant physical security for C2ISR operational readiness. 

Required qualifications: 

• Previous experience as a Physical Security Specialist or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level; 
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a BS/BA or 3 years’ experience with a MS/MA or 0 years’ experience with a PhD. or 9 years' experience w/o a degree or 7 years experience with AS/AA 
• A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level 
• US citizenship is required 

Work Environment:  

• Location: Pope Army Airfield, NC 
• On-site expectations: Full-time on-site presence required for equipment management and asset tracking 
• Travel: May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for logistics coordination and facility assessments
