Scrum Master

The selected Scrum Master will have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Scrum Team in prioritizing features, user stories, and identifying team velocity in an Agile development environment
  • Work with Product Owners to identify priorities, participate in Sprint Reviews, Backlog Refinement, and lead team stand-up meetings.
  • Work collaboratively among cross-functional teams to execute timely releases of code.
  • Identifies, defines and captures requirements, features, and user stories in Jira/Confluence.
  • Develops or provides technical input to engineering artifacts
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
  • Experience as a Scrum Master on an Agile Scrum team or leading diversified software development teams
  • Experience in Software Development, Integration, or other IT related projects
  • Experience working in an AWS/cloud architecture environment
  • Experience working with data models, REST-based microservices, OpenAPI specification
  • Systems integration experience
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability/willingness to work 100% onsite in a secure environment
  • TS/SCI with ability to obtain Poly

 

Desired

  • Certification: Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
  • Ability to understand technical legacy systems and associated component functionalities.
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
