Program Overview
Encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical, and administrative support for Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Cyber and Technology Security Directorate in three key offices/functional areas: Cyber Monitoring and Operations, Cyber Threat and Investigations, and Technology Innovation and Engineering State.
About The Role
Peraton is currently seeking a Senior Cyber Intel Analyst and CIRT Liaison / TIC for its' Federal Strategic Cyber programs.
Location: Full-time, on-site, Arlington, VA.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the principal CTAD liaison to CIRT, establishing clear communication rhythms, playbooks, and escalation paths.
- Coordinate across CTAD sections and with external stakeholders to ensure unity of effort and coherent threat understanding—without assuming direct responsibility for those groups’ specialized duties.
- Develop and maintain strong communication channels and trusted working relationships with interagency and Five Eyes (FVEY) partners to enhance collaborative threat awareness, information sharing, and coordinated cyber response efforts.
- Prepare and deliver senior‑level briefings at all classification levels, ensuring timely dissemination of synthesized insights to leadership.
- Fuse and synthesize multi‑source reporting (classified, proprietary, and open‑source) into clear, actionable intelligence for decision‑makers.
- Maintain awareness of SOC processes and CIRT workflows; align CTAD actions and ticket follow‑ups accordingly.
- Track liaison outcomes, document lessons learned, and feed improvements back into CTAD processes and coordination mechanisms.
- Facilitate collaboration between technical and non‑technical personnel to support innovation and effective execution of the CTAD mission.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; Minimum of 7 years with a Masters degree; or 4 years with PhD.
- An additional 4 years of relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of the bachelors degree requirement.
- Possess one of the following certifications:
- CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP
Must have demonstrated experience and background in cyber threat intelligence (CTI).
Must be proficient in writing and oral communication.
Basic understanding of security operation center (SOC) processes.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- An active Top Secret security clearance.
- Additional ability to obtain a final Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience or knowledge of incident response processes, including triage, containment, and remediation.
- Ability to synthesize technical or operational data into actionable intelligence products for leadership and technical teams.

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
