About The Role

This position provides cyberspace intelligence and planning support to the United States Forces Korea (USFK) Joint Cyberspace Center (JCC). The Cyberspace Intelligence Support specialist will monitor, assess, and characterize adversary activities to provide critical analysis and assessments. This role is instrumental in integrating intelligence into cyberspace operations and plans to support Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO), and ensure mission success within the Korean Theater of Operations (KTO).

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze all-source intelligence to provide situational awareness and indications and warnings regarding cyberspace threats.
  • Develop and deliver fused intelligence products, including threat assessments, profiles, updates, and summaries for senior leadership.
  • Monitor and assess adversary cyberspace capabilities, activities, and intent, with a focus on their potential impact to the KTO.
  • Support the development and management of the Commander's Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR) and Indications & Warning (I&W) for cyberspace operations.
  • Nominate and recommend targets for kinetic and non-kinetic actions based on intelligence analysis; contribute to the development of targeting packages.
  • Collaborate with internal and external intelligence partners, including USFK components, USFK J2, and national agencies, to synchronize intelligence efforts.
  • Integrate intelligence into the joint operational planning process, including the development of cyberspace-specific annexes and appendices for OPLANs and CONPLANs.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the development of realistic, threat-based scenarios for military exercises and training events.
  • Advise leadership on adversary threats and provide recommendations for countermeasures, cybersecurity improvements, and operational planning.
  • Participate in analytical exchanges with the broader intelligence community.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a current and final Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in cyberspace intelligence or other intelligence-related assignments.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing all-source intelligence reporting to provide situational awareness and fused intelligence products.
  • Proven ability to monitor and assess adversary cyberspace activities and intentions.
  • Experience with the joint operational planning process, joint targeting, and integrating intelligence into military operations and exercises.
  • Experience briefing senior military and civilian personnel.
  • Must comply with DoD Cyber Workforce Framework 8570/8140 requirements within six (6) months of employment.

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
