Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Senior Facilities Administrator who will be responsible for overseeing the management and operations of facilities within a Northern Virginia office location. This role involves coordinating various aspects of facility maintenance, space planning, and services to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Facility Management:
    • Support the Facility Engineer in the overall management and maintenance of the organization's facilities, including office buildings, equipment, and grounds.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to facility management.
  • Space Planning:
    • Coordinate office moves to optimize the use of available space.
    • Collaborate with departments to understand space needs and plan accordingly.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility-related services.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and quality services.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control:
    • Develop and manage budgets for facility-related expenses.
    • Monitor costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement budgetary controls.
  • Health and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement measures to create a safe working environment.
    • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Emergency Preparedness:
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans for various situations, ensuring the safety of occupants.
    • Coordinate drills and training sessions for facility occupants.
  • Maintenance Programs:
    • Implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
    • Schedule and oversee routine inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Communication:
    • Liaise with internal departments, management, and stakeholders to understand their facility needs.
    • Communicate facility-related information to employees and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CFM - Certified Facility Manager) desired.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on progressively responsible roles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and management.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing facility-related projects, including renovations and upgrades.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with building codes, health and safety regulations, and other relevant compliance standards.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of facility management software, building automation systems, and other relevant technologies.
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance required. 
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
