About The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled software engineer to design and develop monitoring dashboards and user portals that enhance operational oversight and simplify access to emerging AI capabilities. This role involves technical architecture, full-stack development, and data visualization to create scalable solutions for system monitoring while shaping the department’s technical direction.

Key Responsibilities

System Monitoring Dashboard Development

  • Design and develop real-time monitoring dashboards for system health, performance, and operational metrics.
  • Analyze system data to identify patterns and generate actionable insights.
  • Evaluate tools (Grafana, Tableau, PowerBI, ElasticSearch, etc.) and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Establish visualization standards and integrate diverse data sources from technical and business systems.

AI Tool Portal Development

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define user requirements and workflows.
  • Design user-friendly interfaces that provide seamless access to AI tools.
  • Develop end-to-end solutions (front-end, back-end, integrations) optimized for accessibility and ease of use.

Technical Development

  • Build full-stack solutions, including front-end interfaces, back-end functionality, database integration, and responsive designs.
  • Ensure accessibility, scalability, and adherence to organizational policies.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and optimization for reliable performance.

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Engage stakeholders to define and validate solutions.
  • Provide technical recommendations for visualization and architecture.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow improvement and operational automation.

 

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.

 

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Expertise in visualization platforms (Grafana, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar) and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like React/Angular, and back-end tools like Python, Node.js).
  • Experience designing dashboards for system health and user portals with a focus on user-centric design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to deliver scalable solutions independently.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with large-scale data systems, AI/ML monitoring, and data engineering workflows.
  • Background in data science, systems engineering, or MLOps.
  • Previous experience in similar technical environments.

Details

Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
