About The Role
Peraton is seeking to hire a Senior Network Management Support (Technical) professional for its' Regional Cyber Center-Europe program
- Location: On-site, Wiesbaden, Germany
- Shift work - 2nd and 3rd shift possible
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical oversight of Network Operations Center (NOC) activities at RCC-E, ensuring 24/7 monitoring coverage, adherence to operational procedures, and timely response to network events affecting DoDIN services
- Deploy, configure, and administer enterprise network monitoring and management tools (NMS/EMS), including SNMP polling, syslog aggregation, and threshold-based alerting to enable proactive identification of network degradation
- Manage incident escalation procedures for network outages and performance issues, coordinating with Tier 2/3 engineering teams, NETCOM, and government stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and proper documentation
- Generate and deliver network performance reports, availability metrics, and trend analyses to government leadership, providing actionable recommendations for capacity upgrades and infrastructure improvements
- Administer SNMP and syslog management infrastructure, ensuring all network devices are properly onboarded to monitoring platforms, log retention policies are enforced, and security events are forwarded to SIEM systems
- Coordinate with transport and circuit management teams to track WAN circuit status, manage outage tickets with service providers, and maintain accurate network inventory and circuit documentation

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (STEM/Business Admin) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, OR
- An associate’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience, OR
- An additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Must meet TESA Qualifications
- DoW 8140 - IT (Network Operations Specialist) - Advanced
- Certifications — must hold one active certification (one of the following):
- CCNA; OR
- CCNP Security — any track; OR
- JNCIS (Juniper Networks Certified Specialist)
- Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience with TCP/IP networks
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience with U.S. military command/control systems or commercial LAN/WAN environments
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active DoW Secret security clearance
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with SolarWinds Orion (NPM, NTA, NCM) or equivalent enterprise NMS platforms
- Proficiency with SNMP v2c/v3 configuration, MIB management, and trap receiver administration
- Experience with NetFlow/IPFIX traffic analysis for anomaly detection and bandwidth utilization reporting
- Familiarity with Cisco ISE and network access control (NAC) policy management
- Knowledge of network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) for NOC workflow optimization
- Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or Remedy) for incident, problem, and change management
- Familiarity with DoDIN NOC operational procedures, NETCOM reporting requirements, and Army network management policies
- Experience with syslog management platforms (Splunk, ArcSight, or equivalent) and SIEM integration
Details
Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
