About The Role
Peraton is seeking to hire a Senior Network Service Engineering Support person for the Regional Cyber Center-Europe program.
- Location: On-site, Wiesbaden, Germany
- Shift work - 2nd or 3rd Shift possibility
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise WAN/LAN infrastructure supporting DoDIN transport networks across the RCC-E area of responsibility, ensuring high availability and compliance with NETCOM standards
- Perform advanced TCP/IP troubleshooting across Ethernet, ATM/SONET, and wide-area transport technologies, resolving complex network faults and minimizing service disruptions to mission-critical systems
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network architecture documentation, including topology diagrams, IP address management records, and configuration baselines in accordance with Army configuration management policies
- Support the integration and sustainment of U.S. military command and control (C2) systems on DoDIN networks, coordinating with system owners to ensure proper network segmentation, QoS, and security posture
- Coordinate with NETCOM, ARCYBER, and theater network operations centers on circuit provisioning, transport upgrades, and resolution of escalated network incidents affecting OCONUS operations
- Monitor network performance using enterprise management tools, analyze traffic patterns and capacity utilization, and provide recommendations for optimization and capacity planning to support evolving mission requirements

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (STEM/Business Admin) + 8 years relevant experience
- Associate’s degree and 10+ years relevant experience
- An additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree requirement
- Must meet TESA requirements
- Demonstrated experience with TCP/IP networks (Ethernet, ATM/SONET, wide area transports)
- DoD 8140 Certifications — IT (Network Operations Specialist) - Advanced
- Certifications - must hold one active certification (one of the following):
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) — any track; OR
- JNCIS (Juniper Networks Certified Specialist)
- 3 years of direct experience with U.S. military command/control systems or commercial LAN/WAN environments
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active DoW Secret security clearance
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS routing protocols in large enterprise environments
- Proficiency with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE and Juniper JunOS configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, NetScout, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with DoDIN transport architectures, DISN circuits, and NIPR/SIPR network segmentation
- Knowledge of network security principles including ACLs, 802.1X, and network access control
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies and software-defined networking concepts
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs for network devices and DoD network hardening requirements
- Experience with NetFlow/IPFIX traffic analysis and capacity planning methodologies
Details
Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
