About The Role

 

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Engineer to support enterprise ServiceNow implementations with a strong focus on data migration, system configuration, validation, and application testing. The role involves working closely with architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate data movement, reliable system performance, and high-quality ServiceNow delivery.

This is a hands-on execution role requiring strong technical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in Agile environments.

 

What will you do:

 

ServiceNow Development & Implementation

  • Configure ServiceNow platform components based on business and technical requirements
  • Support implementation of workflows, forms, tables, and integrations
  • Assist senior engineers in solution design and platform enhancements
  • Contribute to ServiceNow module configuration and deployment activities

Data Migration & Validation

  • Analyze legacy system data to support migration readiness
  • Prepare, cleanse, format, and structure data for ServiceNow imports
  • Execute or support data loads and transformation activities
  • Validate migrated data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Assist in developing and maintaining data mapping and transformation documentation

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Execute functional, integration, and UAT testing within ServiceNow applications
  • Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies
  • Validate system functionality against business and technical requirements
  • Support QA cycles to ensure production readiness

Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Build queries and reports to support data validation and reconciliation
  • Identify data quality issues and assist in remediation efforts
  • Support tracking and monitoring of migration progress and data integrity

Agile Delivery Support

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews)
  • Contribute to user story refinement and acceptance criteria definition
  • Support iterative development and sprint-based delivery cycles
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 9 years of experience 
  • At least 5 years of IT experience in system implementation or data-focused roles
  • 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation experience
  • Strong experience in data migration, validation, or system modernization projects
  • Advanced Excel skills including macros and VBA
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Exposure to ITSM, ITOM, or Workplace Service Delivery modules
  • Experience with SQL or reporting/query tools
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance

 Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with Nuvolo or similar ServiceNow-based platforms
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, or module-specific certifications)
  • Familiarity with ETL processes or data mapping tools
  • Experience supporting QA automation or test management tools
  • Large-scale enterprise data migration experience

 

Details

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
