Program Overview
RDG (Risk Decision Group) provides nationwide background investigations compliant with national government standards to include support of continuous vetting for over 110 government agencies.
About The Role

Peraton is seeking to fill a critical role for a full-time Shipping/Receiving Clerk.  This position will be located in Loveland, Colorado.

 

What you'll do:

  • Perform clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods of the establishment in which employed and receiving incoming shipments.
  • Perform day-to-day, routine tasks, this worker follows established guidelines.
  • Handle unusual non-routine problems with specific guidance from supervisor or other officials.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or being received.
  • Shipping duties typically involve the following: verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents; insuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles, and preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading.
  • Receiving duties typically involve the following: verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records, checking for damaged goods, insuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment, and preparing and keeping records of goods received.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 4 years general work experience
  • US Citizenship
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret eligible clearance; Active federal background investigation with a T5 adjudication is preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite - Excel & Outlook
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Target Salary Range: The rate / range per hour below represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
