Program Overview
Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period.
About The Role

Peraton requires Travel and Deployment Managers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. 

This position is located Tampa, Florida.   

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.  

  • Lead and supervise a team of travel coordinators and deployment specialists, setting priorities, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to meet mission-critical timelines.  
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the travel and deployment operations team, contract leadership, and DoD stakeholders.  
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members on Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Federal Travel Regulation (FTR), Government Travel Card (GTC) compliance, and travel system usage.  
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end travel authorization process, ensuring accurate documentation, timely submission, and adherence to audit and compliance requirements.  
  • Coordinate all aspects of deployment and redeployment logistics, including transportation, travel arrangements, lodging, documentation, and schedule alignment with operational requirements.  
  • Maintain oversight of deployment readiness, ensuring personnel are travel-ready, medically cleared, and equipped with required documentation and approvals.  
  • Track, analyze, and report team performance metrics to leadership, and recommend continuous improvements to optimize efficiency and compliance. 
Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 6 years of experience
  • A DoD SECRET clearance is required with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive DoD travel & transportation expertise 
  • Demonstrated experience managing vehicle fleets 
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations, JTR, FTR, and GTC

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
