Expert Systems Engineers assist in leading engineering teams in taking a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.
As an Expert Level engineer supporting TIP, the ideal candidate must have and must demonstrate strong systems engineering acumen with previous experience in the application and execution of the systems lifecycle. Candidate should be skilled and trained in the areas of Digital Engineering, AutoCAD, Confluence, Remedy, and JIRA. The candidate must have experience in project management with the ability to lead the team through technical exchange meetings to meet key milestones and deliverables, develop project schedule, and be technically adept in generating, reviewing, and decomposing systems requirement, ICDs, etc. The candidate must be able to work independently and/or with a team. A self-starter and a forward thinker is a must. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with international partners and must have NRO and NGA (GEOINT) background. The candidate must have strong configuration management experience with the ability to review RFCs and provide impact assessment. In addition, the ideal candidate has working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning; account management; proficiency in calculating bandwidth for data throughput, data storage, communication lines services, IT networks, and cloud-based service architectures for operations. The candidate must be flexible and able to work in a dynamic and fast-pace environment with minimal sufficiency. Only candidates with a strong systems engineering, project management skill, configuration management experience, knowledge of AI/ML, skilled in Digital Environment, and working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering process should apply.
