Peraton is seeking a Technical Editor to support the Global Cyber Control (GCC) in Fort Huachuca, AZ.
The Technical Editor – Intermediate provides professional editing, documentation development, and technical writing support for a wide range of operational, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT systems. This role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and maintaining technical documents, reports, briefings, and communications that support NETCOM operations and compliance activities across the DoDIN-A environment. The editor ensures all written materials are clear, technically accurate, properly formatted, and aligned with Army formatting standards mission requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, revise, and finalize a broad range of documents, including:
System Design Plans (SDPs)
Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
Information System Security Plans (ISSP)
Software Implementation/Test Plans (SIP, STP, SAT)
Engineering Implementation Plans (EIP)
Enterprise Technical Procedures (ETPs)
Authorization documentation (IATT, IATO, ATO, Assess-Only packages)
Point Papers, White Papers, Technical Procedures, Weekly SITREPs
Cyber and threat analysis reports, operational impact assessments, Metalogix audit reports
Edit and provide input for:
Operations Orders (OPORDs)
Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs)
Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs)
Requests for Change (RFCs)
System requirement documents for capabilities or projects
Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
Develop visuals and documentation to support program and project management, including:
Briefings, IPR slides, RACI charts, project charters
Technical bulletins, network advisories, cyber threat summaries
Ad-hoc and recurring technical reports and spreadsheets
Deployment, testing, refresh, and analysis documentation for NETCOM-fielded capabilities (hardware/software)
Document technical and operational discussions during:
Working groups, technology forums, stakeholder engagements, and teleconferences
Strategic planning and capability integration/modernization activities
Prepare materials for senior leadership briefings and stakeholder engagements
Ensure all documentation complies with applicable Army and DoD regulations, including AR 25-50.
Maintain consistency in formatting, grammar, terminology, and technical accuracy across all deliverables.
Support and document cyber analysis mission outputs in accordance with NETCOM and GCC standards.
