Peraton is seeking a Technical Solution Lead to support the NOAA AWIPS program - the mission-critical system used by National Weather Service forecasters nationwide to track storms, analyze real-time weather data, and issue alerts that protect lives and property. AWIPS supports more than 150 forecast offices and national centers, making it essential to delivering fast, reliable, and accurate weather information to the public.
This position is hybrid. Must be local to one of the following Peraton facilities: Melbourne, FL, Aurora, CO, Herndon, VA, San Antonio, TX, Houston, TX, Omaha, NE, Huntsville, AL, King of Prussia, PA, or Silver Spring, MD.
What You'll Do:
Required Qualifications:
Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment
Proficient with Atlassian Tool Suite
Experience with on-prem to cloud migrations
Expertise in solution design and development, vendor interaction, and enterprise application support
Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, team members, and customers
Established project management skills
