About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Verification & Validation (V&V) / Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to support complex system development and testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will perform formal system testing activities, analyze user requirements, develop test strategies, and ensure all testing efforts comply with applicable client, agency, and industry standards.

This position requires strong analytical, technical, and documentation skills, along with extensive experience supporting large-scale systems and mission-critical environments.

 

What you will do:

  • Perform formal system testing activities for projects and system components
  • Analyze documented user and system requirements
  • Develop and execute:
    • test plans
    • test procedures
    • test scripts
    • validation and verification documentation
  • Participate in system development lifecycle activities
  • Support risk management assessments and mitigation planning
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • client standards
    • regulatory requirements
    • industry best practices
  • Document and analyze test results
  • Provide recommendations supported by testing evidence and findings
  • Collaborate with engineering, development, cybersecurity, and project management teams
  • Track, document, and support resolution of system defects
  • Ensure testing activities are completed within established schedules and budgets
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience or 12 years with a HS diploma/equivalent
  • Relevant experience in: 
    • Verification & Validation (V&V)
    • Test & Evaluation (T&E)
    • Systems Engineering
    • Software/System Testing
    • Quality Assurance 
  • Test automation tools and frameworks such as:
    • Selenium, JUnit , TestNG, Cypress, Robot Framework
    • Cucumber
    • Postman
    • SoapUI
    • Jenkins
    • GitLab CI/CD
  • Experience creating automated test scripts for web-based, API, enterprise, and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Ability to design reusable test frameworks and automated validation processes
  • Experience integrating automated testing into Agile and DevSecOps environments
  • Knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as:
    • Python
    • Java
    • JavaScript
    • PowerShell
    • Bash
  • Requirements traceability experience
  • Familiarity in Defect tracking and reporting tools
  • Risk assessment methodologies experience
  • Systems integration and regression testing experience
  • Agile and Waterfall methodologies experience
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance prior to start 
  • Candidate must be located near Egg Harbor Township, NJ or near the FAA Tech Center - testing is required on site 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal or defense programs
  • Knowledge of government compliance standards
  • Security clearance eligibility or active clearance preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

 

Details

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
