Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Workforce Manager (PMO Support) to provide integrated workforce planning, operational coordination, and executive-level support to the Program Management Office (PMO) supporting CBP analytics and intelligence programs.

 

This role blends workforce management, PMO operations, and executive support functions, ensuring alignment between staffing, program execution, and leadership priorities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with experience supporting IT programs and the ability to translate workforce and program data into actionable insights and executive-level communications.

 

Support will be provided across multiple mission locations:

  • Ashburn, VA
  • Sterling, VA
  • Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workforce planning, staffing coordination, and resource tracking to align with program priorities.
  • Monitor workforce metrics (e.g., utilization, capacity, onboarding/offboarding) and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Support PMO leadership with calendar coordination, meeting logistics, and executive communications.
  • Prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, and track action items for governance and leadership meetings.
  • Develop and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.
  • Consolidate data across teams to communicate program status, risks, and workforce trends.
  • Maintain program documentation, including workforce plans, status reports, and governance artifacts.
  • Support program events such as PI planning sessions, reviews, and executive briefings.
  • Coordinate across stakeholders to ensure alignment, communication, and timely delivery of program activities.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy, version control, and audit readiness.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years with BS/BA. 6 years with HS diploma/equivalent in lieu of a degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in workforce management, PMO support, operations, or related role.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and/or IT program environments.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with project management or Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. 

Clearance Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain CBP BI suitability clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience in workforce planning, resource management, or capacity planning.
  • Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or ITIL frameworks.
  • Experience supporting federal or regulated IT programs.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

 

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
