Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst Advisor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's Defense Mission and Health Solutions Sector, Durable Medical Equipment (DME) team. The ideal candidate will gather, manage, and prioritize the collection, documentation, analysis, reporting, communication, and strategy of all system requirements, integrations and customer relationship management development work. The Business Systems Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and effective technical solutions to include maintenance of current systems, enhancements, and modernization efforts at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

 

Role is based out of Windsor Mill, MD so if you reside close, you can work hybrid or in office.

 

The Business Systems Analyst Advisor responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

  • Documenting requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to provide clear guidance to development teams.
  • Analyzing gathered requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Supporting testing activities, reviewing test cases, and verifying that the implemented solution meets the desired outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between different stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements, addressing questions or concerns.
  • Identifying opportunities for system enhancements, analyzing existing processes, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and proposing solutions to streamline workflows and increase productivity
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 14 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 5 years with PhD 
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into technical and analytical requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written & oral), and collaboration skills; comfortable interacting with engineers and senior executives alike.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare IT and understanding of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
  • Experience with Center for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) or Federal Healthcare Programs.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of CMS processes and standards.
  • Experience with DME, Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, or Medicare Common Working File (CWF) specific processing systems

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
