About The Role
Peraton seeks an OT Project Lead/Engineer to support ARCYBER with specialized Critical Infrastructure (CI) and Operational Technology (OT) acumen. Location: Fort Gordon, GA. In this role, you will lead and oversee a large contract team supporting a project addressing the Army’s CI/OT security.
- Maintain security of systems within an industrial environment, including hardware and software like SCADA systems, PLC controllers, and other automation tools, by monitoring industrial processes and network traffic to validate good cybersecurity posture
- Evaluate cyber readiness and security of Army OT systems through site assessments and risk mitigation strategies.
- Communicate threat intent and capability using military tactical tasks and MITRE ATT&CK Enterprise and ICS frameworks
- Conduct intelligence analysis to deliver actionable intelligence to enhance threat detection capabilities
- Provides analysis of CI/OT related threats
- Monitors, analyzes, and detects cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks.
- Assists with integrated, dynamic cyber defense
- Provide contract-related management and oversight of the team:
- Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines
- Acquires follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development
- Has supervisory and developmental responsibilities within a functional area including performance of professional and technical personnel
- Monitors project funding and forecasts of program financial performance; develops and delivers required contract reports
Qualifications
Required:
- 12 years of experience with supervisory or management experience
- Must be adaptable in positioning/developing the contract team to meet the evolving requirements and the emerging threat complexities
- Must have advanced level of experience and knowledge to advise key stakeholders such as G2 ACE, G36, CPB, USACE, USAMC on key capabilities including intelligence production with regard to facility-related ICSs, Organic Industrial Base, and civil works.
- Must be knowledgeable of OT cybersecurity best practices, threat landscape, and mitigation strategies in SCADA, PLC, Human Machine Interface (HMI), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and other industrial automation systems
- Understand methods used by threats to disrupt, manipulate, or control OT systems
- Must understand physical and logical communication methods and protocols used in ICS, PLC, SCADA, DCS, RTU, and HMI systems
- Understand ICS operations and able to distinguish discrepancies in normal/abnormal operations
- This position has a government-required certification: must have and maintain IAM Level III (CISM, CISSP, GSLC, or CCISO)
- Active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI, Polygraph and MEAD
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be able to travel and/or provide surge support
Desired:
- Certifications/training/experience:
- ISA/IEC 62443, SANS GIAC Critical Infrastructure Protection (GCIP) training, or
- GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) Certification, or
- ICS612 training, or
- at least 5 years of specific OT/ICS cybersecurity experience
Details
Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
