About The Role

Peraton seeks a Senior Planner / Mission Thread Lead to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC)  with data-driven operations and sophisticated cyber defense analytics to secure, operate, and defend the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN)

 

Location: Fort Meade, MD

 

Tasks include:

  • Provide dedicated operational planning capacity for the DCDC program to ensure Data and Analytic Support Cell (DASC) operations are supported by a coherent, continuously updated planning framework. Conduct the following:
    • mission thread analysis,
    • OPORD/FRAGO production,
    • CONOPS development,
    • JADC2 experimentation coordination, and
    • battle rhythm management 
  • Serve as DCDC's primary liaison to the AI Task Force and emerging DoD AI initiatives.
  • Drive future-year capability and resource planning through POM inputs, capability gap analyses, and coordination with subordinate DAOs and mission partners across USCYBERCOM.
Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider Associate+14 or HS+16 years of experience.
  • Familiar with DevSecOps  Cross Domain Support Office (CDSO) framework, 
  • Familiar with cybersecurity readiness assessments, ASOM analysis, technical hardening validation, data quality improvement, and operational risk characterization for the DODIN.
  • Familiar with or technical competencies in the Caspian and Joint Cyber Runtime Stack-Data (JCRS-D), AI/ML, Joint Cyber War-fighting Architecture (JCWA), and governance frameworks.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI.

Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
