About The Role

Peraton requires Network Security Engineers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM.  This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

The C2C Network Security Engineer will serve as a technical authority for the design, deployment, optimization, and administration of the enterprise Comply to Connect (C2C) security framework. This role heavily prioritizes advanced Network Access Control (NAC), continuous endpoint discovery, real-time posture assessment, and automated remediation over traditional routing and switching. The engineer will lead initiatives to ensure that no device—whether managed, unmanaged, or Internet of Things (IoT)—accesses DoW network infrastructure without verifying its security posture and operational compliance. By bridging the gap between network infrastructure, cybersecurity policy, and endpoint management tools, this role is critical to enforcing Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) across highly complex, mission-critical environments.

  • Engineer, sustain, and optimize enterprise Comply to Connect (C2C) architectures and Network Access Control (NAC) platforms (e.g., Forescout, Cisco ISE) to enforce dynamic, policy-driven device authentication across globally distributed networks.
  • Design and maintain automated device discovery pipelines to ensure 100% visibility of all IP-connected assets, including physical, virtual, IoT, OT, and rogue devices, across all enterprise network segments.
  • Develop and integrate bi-directional orchestration workflows between NAC platforms and endpoint management/security tools (e.g., MECM, HBSS/ESS, ACAS) to conduct real-time posture assessment and policy compliance checks.
  • Configure and manage automated remediation and quarantine policies, ensuring non-compliant or rogue endpoints are isolated or restricted to remediation VLANs without interrupting broader network operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Security Operations Centers (SOC), systems administrators, and security teams to align network access policies with DoW STIGs, execution orders (EXORDs), and C2C compliance mandates.
  • Design, configure, and maintain the underlying enterprise network infrastructure (routing, switching, and firewalls) specifically to support secure C2C enforcement points, 802.1X authentication, and dynamic VLAN assignment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive C2C system architecture diagrams, logical data flow maps, policy matrixes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for SOC and network personnel.
